We’ve been assured the honorary doctorate is in the mail so it’ll be Doctor Mumbles from now on. The most wise and brainy folk at the University of Sydney have very kindly asked us to assist them in launching their huge initiative, The Centre for Obesity, Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease (CODCD). It’s a $385m multi- disciplinary biomedical research and training centre which will expand capacity for basic, clinical and translational research on the causes, prevention and treatment of the chronic diseases that are the greatest threat to health among most populations worldwide. Dr Mumbles will be the eyes, ears and tongue specialist charged with developing the strategic, brand and communication platform for the Centre and we’re obviously extremely excited and honoured to help the University of Sydney spread the important word to the Universe.
